I find it hilarious that he's selling it for $40,000 when he paid less than $12k for it (second from the bottom) (http://fpgeeks.com/2012/10/pelikan-maki-e-unique-collection-auction-results/).

The seller is Regina Martini. You are expected to know your stuff first then politely tell her what you think about the asking price. And depending on the pen uniqueness, stock level, and her mood.. she might say yes, and you'll be jumping for joy.. but usually she would just link you to her auction site, and that means no. There you can buy from LAMY Safari to MB Brandenburger Tor, and she has them all in stock. Hth.
