Up for sale is a Waterman’s Commando in black with gold trim. The pen is fitted with an excellent, large 14K #5 firm flex nib that performs wonderfully and is quite responsive. This pen writes well at any speed. The condition of this pen is very good. Only area showing any substantial brassing is the level box, as pictured. The clip and cap rings are in outstanding condition, and save the normal micro-scratches this pen looks great. Imprints are sharp and crisp. Everything operates just as it should, and the pen has been cleaned and flushed awaiting shipping. See photos below for more detail. Now for a bit about me, since I am obviously quite new around here. I have been in the vintage pen hobby for about 2 years now (bought many pens over on the other board as DavyJones) and have a preference for Waterman’s pens. Unfortunately I suffer another expensive hobby; amateur astronomy. The proceeds from the sale of this pen are going to fund a new eyepiece (one only needs so many black pens, after all).
