Good morning all, I've acquired a Sheaffer's that looks like a balance, lever filler, a 'military' clip and the Feather Touch nib. Can't find any similar on the various Sheaffer's available websites that helps me identify it correctly. Ideas? Thank you

the pen has arrived. it is gorgeous but I can't write with it. The nib is an F and very dry. I tried two inks, Waterman Absolute Brown and Aurora Black, but the written text slightly fades as I write. I have to exert pressure on the pen to get it to write and this hurts my wrist. Unfortunately I have to send it back. I have seen that there is a 500 imprinted under the Sheaffer logo and production place. Thank you for the help

These feeds hold plenty of ink.
Thoroughly flush the feed with flush solution and rinse. The nibs are usually firm but reliable writers.

Check this out. Your pen is green which is not listed in this ad, so your pen pre- or post-dates this advertisement. Note all the versions available in the military-clip pens.

It would be interesting to date this ad :-)
It doesn't mention any of the nib types. Thank you

Note that like other style Sheaffers, the prices of military clip Sheaffers were not tied to the type filling system (lever or plunger VAC-FILL), but rather to the model/girth of the pen and whether they had a lifetime warranty (i.e., a white dot).

Thank you for providing the information. I like to listen to music, and at the moment all I want to do is write an essay on it. I shall use this website's help to complete my music essay because I have no clue how to accomplish it. I will be able to write a very fantastic essay about music with the aid of this website. You can attempt to finish an essay on this topic try here (https://writinguniverse.com/free-essay-examples/classical-music/)*if you would want to write one on it or any other subject.

I found it by chance on ebay and was the only one the seller had. I've seen others, on ebay, search for 'Sheaffer balance defender Military clip' or any of these word combination. 'military clip' are needed words though
