If you intend to make a purchase, please read "Rules, shipping,
etcetera" at the bottom of this post.

4. Circa 1929 Sheaffer’s standard size Balance pen in black. This
first model of Balance pen is sometimes referred to as the “Long
Balance” model, because of the extra long tapered end of the barrel.
The ball of the clip has some typical brassing and the band has the
initials “G.M.” engraved in block capital letters on the backside. The
pen measures 5 5/8 inches or 14.4 cm. The nib is a very smooth writing
rigid Extra Fine 14K Lifetime. Overall this is a very nice example of
a first model Balance pen. Circa ‘37 Gruen Curvex wristwatch in the
photos is not for sale.

Price $175.00 shipping included in the U.S. Foreign shipping see
"Rules, Shipping, Etc." below.

5. ~SOLD~ to M.A.

circa 1933 Sheaffer's Balance in silver pearl with red veining.
This is a short, stubby model pen, sometimes referred to as a "vest
pocket" model. It is the diameter of a full standard size model, but
capped measures 4 5/8 inches or 11.7 centimeters. The only damage I
could see was some typical brassing on the ball of the clip. There is
no discoloration and the barrel imprint is deep. The nib is a smooth
writing wide Fine or narrow Medium two tone 14K "Lifetime". Overall
this is an excellent example of this model.

~SOLD~ to M.A. $145.00 shipping included in the U.S. Foreign shipping see
"Rules, Shipping, Etc." below.

6. 1937 to '45 Sheaffer's Balance pen in black. This is a short,
stubby model pen, sometimes referred to as a "vest pocket" model. The
barrel imprint seems a bit light on the right hand side. There is no
brassing on the clip, cap band or lever. There is what appears to be a
speck of white plastic imbedded in the barrel just ahead of the lever
slot, which I find interesting, usually it is specks of steel that I
see imbedded in the plastic. It is the diameter of a full standard
size model, but capped measures 4 3/4 inches or 12 centimeters. The
nib is an Extra Fine two tone 14K "Lifetime". Overall the condition is
Excellent.

Price $135.00 shipping included in the U.S. Foreign shipping see
"Rules, Shipping, Etc." below.
