Hi all,

These pens have all been restored inside and out, and are ready to
fill with ink and write.

If you see one or more pens that you like, please E-mail me at:

If you intend to make a purchase, please read "Rules, shipping,
etcetera" at the bottom of this post.

Pen #1. 1937 to '45 Sheaffer's oversize "Premier" Balance pen in black.
There is no brassing on the clip, cap band or the lever. The lever has
a slight bend, probably do to someone trying to lift the lever against
an ossified ink sac. The cap has some slight unevenness on the back
side, between the cap band and the vent holes. The nib is a wet
writing Extra Fine two tone 14K."Lifetime". The nib is one of the
later ones that is upswept, just behind the tip.

Price $185.00 shipping included in the U.S. Foreign shipping see
"Rules, Shipping, Etc." below.

2. ~SOLD~ to R.S.

c. 1936 Sheaffer's Jr. Balance pen in Ebonized Pearl, i.e.
black with abalone chips. This is a long slender model. It is an early
rod/plunger fill, with a coated plunger rod. The silver colored trim has
some micro scratches, but no other damage that I noticed. The
plunger head and packing were replaced by Gerry Berg and the pen
is filling well. The barrel is visulated in spirals and has only light
ambering, it is much better than average. Many of the Ebonized
Pearl Balance pens have discolored over the abalone chips,
especially on the barrels, but the color is perfect on this pen. The
nib in this pen is quite scarce, it is a smooth flexible Medium Stub
in 14K. It makes very crisp thin and thick lines and will flex to about
a broad line, when light pressure is applied. It writes very wet.
Capped the pen measures 5 3/8 inches or 13.7 cm.

~SOLD~ to R.S. $155.00 shipping included in the U.S. Foreign shipping
see "Rules, Shipping, Etc." below.

3. c. 1925 Sheaffer's 3-25 in coral. This is the shorter version,
capped it measures 4 1/2 inches or 11.6 cm. There is a spot of
brassing on either side of the clip and the barrel threads are very
stained. The nib is a very smooth writing Extra Fine rigid 14K. The
barrel is imprinted deeply. Overall it is a decent example with a very
nice polish job. I think the coral colored radite was Sheaffer's first
offering in colored plastic, and likely intended to compete with the
orange colored Parker Duofold line.

Price $125.00 shipping with insurance included in the U.S. Foreign shipping
see "Rules, Shipping, Etc." below.
