What is the 2460 nib really?

I'm finding conflicting information on the Esterbrook 2460 nib.

http://www.esterbrook.net/nibs.shtml says it is a "firm fine recordkeeping"

http://www.richardspens.com/?page=ref/nibs/renew_point.htm says "rigid medium manifold" -- does anyone have a vintage ad or box that can clarify this for sure?

This source (http://www.snyderfamily.com/current/estienibs.htm) says "firm medium."

This one (http://www.fountainpenrecycler.com/servlet/Detail?no=963) says it's a fine.

Peyton Street (http://www.peytonstreetpens.com/esterbrook-dollar-fountain-pen-blue-2460-nib-fine-firm-excellent.html) describes it as a fine.

Over here (http://www.thefedoralounge.com/archive/index.php/t-36757.html) it's called a firm medium. (use control+f or cmd+f to get to the reference quickly)

And now all we know is that I, too, can find conflicting sources.

Someone on the board that shall not be named posted a photo of the 9460 box that states X-Firm, but no indication of the size of the line...
