*SOLD*

Up for sale is my Renaissance Art 3x5 card binder. It is in black exterior leather and a blue interior leather. It has a pen loop but larger pens may have trouble fitting. It also has an interior front pocket. It has three black plastic dividers (no tabs). I used this very little only because I found that 3x5 systems were not suited for me. It has very little wear but shows some minor interior scratches on the rear cover. It has the 1" binder rings. $30 $25 USD via paypal shipped anywhere in the continental US (no index cards included). Please contact me for any questions via PM.

KI, what do you Americans use the 3x5" cards for ? Brad at the PenAddict and a bunch of other bloggers go on about them all the time.

A loose leaf notebook and being useful for leaving notes for yourself and others on a sturdier bit of paper.

It's the hipster PDA craze. A minimalist planner of sorts. Here is a page about it: http://www.43folders.com/2004/09/03/introducing-the-hipster-pda

I don't know about the whole hipster PDA thing, but I use index cards all the time. At work, I grab an index card to write a quick note on before I grab a post-it note. Of course that could be due to bad feathering on post-its. I have never cared much for post-it notes, but an index card and a piece of tape works perfect for me (or tack into a board, or stick in a catalog, etc...). Label lab stations with index cards. I use them to keep track of questions for review games with students. They just work for me. I often chop then in halves and keep a stack of half cards on the desk for use for student passes.

I might have to throw up a review of my trusty notecard pads...

It is an interesting index card keeper. You should do that!

mine are so heavily modified they're almost unrecognizable... Ok, I'll get to work on it.

Thanks Ivan & Etoyoc, I think I'm getting the idea.
Manoeuver sounds interesting but I hope not too interesting. I've already enough stationary supplies without a new obsession.

these are really cool - I have one - index cards are great for notes for cramming for exams - I used them a lot when I was in college and then I used this when I participated in the ICAD art challenge - read about it here: http://daisyyellowart.com/icad/
