Not much needs to be said about this brown arco celluloid materia;l we all know how awesome it is. Leonardo did a stunning job with the pen and it is just about as perfect as a pen can be.
Condition - Pen is in great condition, well taken care of, I was first person to fill it with ink and only for short time.
Piston filler - works as it should, easily sucks up ink. High ink capacity.
Size - large size but very comfortable, lightweight. For comparison if anyone tried the Leonardo Magico this pen is slightly thicker and a little heavier making it just about perfect in both weight and diameter at least for my hands.
Nib - spectacular gold nib, broad size, love the way this writes, probably one of my favorite nibs of all time. It writes stubbish so wider on downstroke and a little thinner on horizontal strokes. Has nice ink shading effect. The ebonite feed provides great ink flow to nib. Nib is soft so you can get some line variation but not a flex nib.
I wanted to get a fancy Arco pen that wasn't ASC and was fortunate enough to get this. I love it and hard to let this beauty go but I just don't use fountain pens like I used to. Hope that someone will buy this and use it often.
