Selling a Waterman's Ideal #52 pen. This has become on of THE starter pens for vintage flex.
This particular example I'd probably as solid user condition for slightly worn(but visible) imprints and chasing, as well as an overall light olive color from rubber oxidation.
The nib runs from about an F to a BB or BBB with moderate pressure. It's not the most flexible Waterman #2 nib I've ever used, but is respectable and will definitely give a nice taste of flex to the prospective buyer. With a light hand it's also very useable unflexed. Please excuse my poor attempts at calligraphy to show off the flex in the verification photos and don't let my miserable handwriting represent what the pen is capable of!
This is the standard 52 pen-not the short 52V or skinny 52 1/2. It's a nice comfortably sized pen. Cap is clipless with no evidence of one ever being installed(this is common on 52s).
This is a lever filler with a fresh ink sac and otherwise perfect operation.
