Hi all. An addition to my metal bird line-up: Pelikan M430 which basically a black M400 with vermeil cap, except the gold trim similar to that of M7000 Majesty. Produced for only six month for Galeria Kaufhof in 2006. More info can be found on this FPN thread (http://www.fountainpennetwork.com/forum/index.php/topic/104915-new-pen-in-the-flock/). The correct nib is an 18C, but on this is the pre 97 14C two chicks. Writes pretty much the same as my http://fpgeeks.com/forum/showthread.php/2666-Green-striated-M450 in terms of balance. Without further ado, here are the photos:

Thank you.

That's wonderful. I have a green tortoise M450. It seems that Pelikan also sold a black and silver M420 (http://www.stylophilesonline.com/09-04/pel.htm), which looks like yours, but without the special gold trim. I would love to find a bargain M420 someday.

Though as you say, they all pretty much feel the same while writing. :)

I managed to get a 420 a while ago and the 18k nib is great. I like your pen too!

Thank you for the kind words folks. Sorry for the late reply, as I had problem with the browser recently. The M450 is really pretty, Laura. I was hunting for one but got the M650 (prototype?) instead. It's one of the prettiest pen ever imho, and getting scarcer each day.. Oh well, perhaps I might get lucky someday :-)

Love this pen and it is an special to all present Pelikan pens.
I might go for this and I am not a fan of many contemporary pens .

Hi! Thank you for sharing your new addition to your metal bird line-up. The Pelikan M430 sounds like a beautiful pen with its vermeil cap and gold trim. It's interesting to know that it was only produced for six months for Galeria Kaufhof in 2006. I appreciate you sharing the FPN thread for more information.

This unique trait is a result of crossbreeding cannabis https://pureplantpleasures.com ruderalis, a subspecies known for its autoflowering characteristics, with other cannabis strains. As a result, autoflowering plants will automatically start flowering after a certain period, typically around 2-4 weeks from germination.
