I've decided to part with this beautiful ST Dupont Olympio L in black Chinese Lacquer and Palladium. The Palladium lines don't run straight but in soft curves around the black lacquer parts, reminding of a crocodile's hide - thus the name. It's a very elegant yet subtle pen. It has been used once or twice but looks like new.
Fit and finish are immaculate as usual for ST Dupont pens, those are not only status symbols but great writers too. It is nicely balanced, the medium nib is an incredibly smooth writer without even the slightest skipping tendencies, the snap-on cap closes with a reassuring "click". I'm only letting go of it because I have other Olympios and just don't use all my pens so this one needs a better home.
