Extra Fine Nib Ink Review: Waterman Radiant Pink

This is review #233 in my series. Here's the YouTube video:

https://youtu.be/ipkMcVj4Ecs

Post-recording notes: This was from a short cartridge. It is indeed radiant, and leans purple. A very bright color, rather unlike Waterman. :) While there is technically shading, you really have to look for it.

Cleaning was quick and easy, but may require an extra flush or two of plain water - pink inks tend to cling a little. No rubbing or pen flush required, just water.

Other (Just a little doodle I made using this ink.)

Zoomed in photo (Fairly close. Might be lacking a little of the purple lean.)

Scan of Completed Review (Almost perfect. Go by the color in this one.)

Absorbent Paper Close-up (top is puzzle paper like thick newsprint, bottom is old 20lb copy paper) (AP: It's darker in real life; CP: It doesn't look fuzzy-edged in real life, color is off a bit.)

Line width (One of the lines used for dry time. Magnification is 100x. The grid is 100x100µm. The scale is 330µm, with eleven divisions of 30µm each. The line width for this ink is roughly 300µm. With 233 inks measured, the average line width is 296µm.)

Microscope image (400x. There were several of these, otherwise the ink was boring. :) Color is very accurate.)

Excellent review for an eye searing pink :thumb:
Now if my doodles turned out like that I would be really proud!
Is that an embroidery piece done Quin's Ma or maybe his sweetheart to have them remember by? ;)

Fab review and fab doodle! Having just acquired a handful of very bright pinks and magentas, I'm not really feeling the need to add another (especially not a purple-ish one, and even more not one that seems only to be available in cartridges), but if I did, I would definitely consider this one!

It must be nice to have magic...

:) I do enjoy the occasional "Zentangle".

Liz: Thanks for the review of an ink I MIGHT have, but never used. It is eye-searing: magically producing zentangles and giant mutated pansies (which must somehow contain Magic ™️).

Let's hope Quin and his friends escape the angry mob!

:D You're very welcome. Don't stare too long at the patterns - you never know what might happen...

:D :D Tune in next time...
