I recently received my bottle of Edgar Allan Poe ink, the one with the more fitting colour (bleh, green, bleh!)

It has good flow and looks best in a wetter nib. I put it in my TWSBi mini with F nib, and that looked fairly pink-ish. I already thought the mini wrote dry so I took the opportunity to make it a bit wetter, which worked out great. I don't have a pen inked with Diamine Oxblood at the moment, and you can't really tell much difference between the two from the photo, unfortunately. Oxblood does look more like blood (more brown / black) and Edgar leans more towards red wine (a friend said 'barolo'). Diamine Syrah on the other hands looks more pinkish, so I guess Edgar sits somewhere in between the two. I only now remember my sample of Diamine Merlot, I should have used that one too (maybe I will compare later...)

I like this colour a lot! It doesn't burn my eyes and writes well. It dries fast (not superfast, just fast) on my rhodia dotpad. It also scrubbed of my fingers easily, yay!
Very pleased with this ink!
