Greetings from the Netherlands! Since I started posting comments I thought I might just as well join here and add some international flavour.
I have been using fountain pens for the better part of 35 years, but really started a collection some 13-14 years ago. Most of my collection is modern pens and I'm a sucker for those velvety-smooth Italian pens, so now they make up about half of my collection. And let's not forget Pelikan. Lately, my attention has been drawn by Japanese pens, probably because of the stories I have heard about their smooth nibs (and I felt my wallet cringe violently as I was typing this). And you really had to bring Edison Pens onto my radar with that interview, didn't you Eric?
I really like that this forum, the site and the podcasts all simply exude FUN! And isn't that why we all do it: fun.
