Extra Fine Nib Ink Review: Diamine Steel Blue
This is review #240 in my series. Here's the YouTube video:
https://youtu.be/ZB5N-iONuAI
Post-recording notes: This was a sample gifted to me by a generous FPNer. The ink goes down with a bluer lean (but not blue) and dries more green. It's a bright, cheerful color, good for summer. But it's nothing like blued steel. Cleaning was quick and easy with plain water.
Zoomed in photo (Very close. Possibly a little too blue, hard to be sure.)

Screenshot (A bit too green. A little too dark.)

Scan of Completed Review (Definitely too green.)

Absorbent Paper Close-up (top is puzzle paper like thick newsprint, bottom is old 20lb copy paper) (Both are very close to the color I see.)

Line width (One of the lines used for dry time. Magnification is 100x. The grid is 100x100µm. The scale is 330µm, with eleven divisions of 30µm each. The line width for this ink is roughly 317µm. With 240 inks measured, the average line width is 296µm.)

Microscope image (100x. Taken with cell phone camera to get color. Background is green. Feathers are light blue.)
