Bob Patterson of Street Photography Magazine and I recently spent an hour talking about the stories behind these photos, a life in photography, leaving the phone in your pocket, and why you should always carry your camera. Lovely images and a timely message.
I am currently editing the photos I took during my recent trip. And I was glad that I brought a camera with me (a real camera, not my smartphone).

I am not a professional photographer but absolutely agree with this statement.

I LOVE the photo of the three cowboys. Where was it taken?

Edit. Oops. I should have looked around your website more before posting this. Willow Creek Ranch in Wyoming.

Also love "City of Light," the backlit silhouetted couple in Paris on your website.

I'm a writer and reader so I don't get the whole "podcast" thing. But I do endorse the idea of always having a camera with you. However, you have to do more than simply carry a camera. You need the discipline to look and the skill to see. That's why my underlying imaging philosophy comes down to: "This is what you would have seen if you had looked."
