Hi all,

These pens have all been restored inside and out, and are ready to
fill with ink and write.

If you see one or more pens that you like, please E-mail me at:

michael@northwestpenworks.com

If you intend to make a purchase, please read "Rules, shipping,
etcetera" at the bottom of this post.

Pen #1. 1937 to '45 Sheaffer's oversize "Premier" Balance pen in black.
There is no brassing on the clip, cap band or the lever. The lever has
a slight bend, probably do to someone trying to lift the lever against
an ossified ink sac. The cap has some slight unevenness on the back
side, between the cap band and the vent holes. The nib is a wet
writing Extra Fine two tone 14K."Lifetime". The nib is one of the
later ones that is upswept, just behind the tip.

Price $185.00 shipping included in the U.S. Foreign shipping see
"Rules, Shipping, Etc." below.

2. 1929 Sheaffer's oversize pen, generally referred to by pen
collectors as a Half Balance. This one is black and white pearl. These
were made when W.A. Sheaffer's Co. was making a transition between the
flat top pens and the full Balance pens. As I recall both versions
half and full Balance pens were made in 1929. The clip on the pen has
some brassing on the top, the hump and ball. There is also a thin line
of brassing on the bottom edge of the cap band, about 4 mm long. The
cap has pretty nice color in the plastic, but the barrel has moderate
even typical ambering. The nib is a smooth Extra Fine 14K. Capped the
pen measures 5 5/16 inches or 13.5 cm. Because of the brassing and
darker barrel I am pricing this one at what I would consider a more
reasonable price.

Price $235.00 shipping included in the U.S. Foreign shipping
see "Rules, Shipping, Etc." below.

3. c. 1938 Sheaffer's WASP set in golden brown with black vertical
stripes. The pearl pattern in the pen and pencil are sometimes
referred to as circuit board. It is kind of a checkered pattern. The
clip on the pen has some thin lines of brassing on the high edges.
There is a bit of pitting in the gold on the lever. The faceted ends
on the pen and pencil have typical brassing. The ends were very thinly
plated. The pencil works very well and is smooth when you turn the top
to advance the lead. Capped the pen measures 4 7/16 inches or 11.4 cm.
The imprints on both the pen and pencil are deep. The nib is a smooth
soft writing fine 14K, with some line variation. I know I mentioned
this above, this is a lever fill pen.

Price $120.00 shipping included in the U.S. Foreign shipping
see "Rules, Shipping, Etc." below.
