That worked. I have to use "Spoiler" rather than "Inline Spoiler". This was only a test. :dance3:

When I pressed Reply With Quote to your post then selected Go Advanced there are 3 lines of options available at the top of the message. The two spoiler options are the last two selectable options on the right hand side of the third line of options.

You can post a spolier to wrap around a block of text or just wrap a spoiler around one line or part of one line of text. If you hover over them it tells you which is which.

vBulletin provides for using an image's URL address. You can either use the menu bar in your initial post or reply by choosing Go Advanced, or place the URL between and . ...

Thanks Fred. I've got it now. When posting images in the Art and Calligraphy subforum here, I've been using links to my Flickr account, which shows them as images within my posts. That wasn't the problem. It's just that I've got an image coming up in about a week that I want to hide until people have read my comments. Turns out that "inline spoiler" is the wrong option to use for that, but "spoiler", which was sitting quietly next to it, works just fine. :)

calamus please see my reply to you @ post #9 where I gave you the information to find them. When you press Reply With Quote, you then also need to press Go Advanced and both are on the third row of options along the grey bar. The left one is the full spoiler and the right one is the inline spoiler.

I used the spoiler to cover the inks on my latest ink review in case people don't wish to see the colours on the Diamine Invent Calendar (http://fpgeeks.com/forum/showthread.php/40864-Diamine-Inkvent-Calendar-2023-Purple-Edition) before December 1st
