Automotive section pliers! Who knew?

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0002STS58?psc=1

The price ($8.60 US) and the "comfort grip" handles are appealing.

These are exactly the same as the ones I bought and that Ron showed on his web-site.

I bought a pair of these last fall. Quite nice really, with the padding on the jaws giving a good grip. I had been buying them from NAPA for years. The padding eventually tears, but they work. The ones I use most often are in the Cheap Tools articles (https://mainstreetpens.com/articles.htm) on my website. Fuel line hose on pliers with the jaws ground smooth allows you to change the padding as needed. A foot of fuel line hose is around a buck.

I bought a pair of these several years ago after seeing they were the ones specifically recommended by Richard Binder.
I have subsequently purchased two more pair and I use them with some frequency.
I have been very satisfied and strongly recommend them if you are looking to acquire a good quality section plier.

PS: I just checked, Richard still has them listed as the section pliers he recommends on his web site. Once there, scroll down............
