For sale is a vintage Webster fountain pen that was made by the Parker Pen Company for Sears. The nib is stamped “14K Webster U.S.A. 46″, signifying that the pen, or the nib at least, was made in 1946. The green celluloid is in very good condition with only minor surface scratches that’s free of any nicks or gouges. The barrel imprint is deep, crisp, and easily readable. Opposite the maker’s mark is engraved the name “ELMER H. HOSTMEYER”.
The cap bands are tight and in very good condition. The clip shows signs of brassing and corrosion. The button filler has just been restored with a new sac. The nib lays down a smooth EF-F line.
The pen weighs 15g and measures 126mm capped, 114.5mm uncapped, and 146.5mm posted with a barrel diameter of 11.9mm. $65
