Handsome pen. And the nib looks like a stub?

Gorgeous. I've pretty much got every Montblanc I want, except one of these. In 142 or 144 I wouldn't care. Sweet, sweet pens.

The striated montblancs are great looking pens. This one seems a fine example.thanks for sharing.

What restoration was required to get it to this condition?

This was just one of those very rare finds. No external restoration required. Internally, I have replaced the cork piston seal.

Amazing pen, great shots! From some angles the pattern almost looks like inlay. I really like the muted reflections - they give the impression of a pen that has emerged from the past larger than life.

Now that's a beauty. Great photos too.... just when I thought I won't be lusting after other pens for a little while... serves me right for opening up this thread to take a look inside.
