Sometimes I take a notion to have a little fun in the the shop. I like to get creative and see what I come up with. Hee are a few that I have created over the past couple of years. Comments and Critques are welcome and thanks for looking.

Those are very unique and whimsical, thanks for sharing. I quite like the first two, especially the "base". Thanks for sharing these with us.

I particularly like the second one. The watch tower looking cap is just too cool. Makes me want to play medieval warfare games. :fencing:

Thanks for all the kind words.

I enjoy making them and after making a few realized I also enjoy using fountain pens as well. Overall I have an adventurous side and these tend to show it. Here is another that is (not a fountain pen) but several rifle cartridges that I split to make the flower petals for this pen.

I am partial to the hammer, made me think of Thor. But the cigars a very close second - what a fun bunch of pens! Totally unique from other pens out there, and so full of character. Thanks for sharing with us!

I have been thinking on what should be my next adventure. I have been challenged to make a Dr Who screwdriver and I am not sure I am ready for that. Its on my list for a someday.

Any ideas?

Phil, these are fun! You inspired me to finish up a pen I've had about 90% done for a while now. Maybe I can even finish it up by the weekend while my other project needs breaks....:whip:

The first one its wonderful! One technical question:

How did you make the wood and acrylic squares in that one? You make the stock yourself and them you machine it, or you buy it and then machine it? How is that made??

Never seen this done and would love to know how to do it!!

I also enjoy the hammer a lot!!!

I make them myself. Then turn them. I cast alot of my own acrylic and build the block walls the integrate them all together. Turned on a wood lathe.

Thanks for asking.
