OK, so it isn't a fountain pen, but it is a pen I made:) I was dragging my feet (actually, destroying twist mechanisms and creating rough seams - imagine cutting a twisting part on a spinning lathe) for a while, but wanted to be able to offer ballpoint pens as part of a set, or as one-offs if people wanted them. So, finally, this is a working prototype that actually works very well.
It is a finial twist to advance the ink refill, and the nose cone unscrews to access/change the refill. I beveled the seams at both nose cone and finial so as to avoid sharp edges, and I have to say, they are barely even noticeable.
Anyway, here are the photos. Thanks for putting up with the dark side for a minute:) Questions, comments, all that stuff welcome as usual. :D
