I just recently acquired me a set of taps and dies suitable for making 6 mm Jowo nib pens with 14 mm cap threads. This is my first attempt at making one. It was definitely a learning experience. I used black ebonite as that is what I had close by. Comments and critiques are welcome and thanks for looking.

Very nice. Where do stand on pen stoppers? I saw the attached on Penboard and thought it was a really nice simple solution.

Perhaps, to keep in with the elegance of the section, all it might need would be a silver, ebonite or turquoise 'dot' to stop it rolling away.

I like it! And for a first time doing this model, it's stunning!

Would it be incredibly hard to make it so the cap threaded on when you posted it? Just curious.

For a bit I thought you were talking about a 6mm italic!

I dont think it would be hard to do at all. I will try it on the next one I attempt. The next one I think will be a bit more colorful.

THanks for all the comments.

I thought you had got yourself one of those Pilot Parallels with a 6mm nib tip, or something similar, for calligraphy!

Nice pen - and it doesn't look out of place with the #6 nib. Good work.
