I had downgraded my cable package, then on Halloween frantically went looking for a channel that had coverage. Nope. We could either upgrade again ($35/mo) OR buy a 'sports package' ($7/mo).

Guess which one The World-reknowned Cheapskate went for? ;)

One of my favorites, Ron The Greek, has already scratched out with a quarter-crack. :(

We used to be, but haven't kept up. We even went when it was at Arlington Park. An impressive spectacle, and blessedly free of the "bros throwing up" atmosphere of the Kentucky Derby.
