Hi all,

If you see one or more pens that you like, please reply to me at:

michael@northwestpenworks.com

If you intend to make a purchase, please read "Rules, shipping,
etcetera" at the bottom of this post.

Pen #1. 1947 Parker 51 in Cedar Blue with raised stacked coin Lustraloy
cap. This pen has a Vacumatic fill system. The cap has one little rub
mark on the middle of the side of the cap and it has some micro
scratches, from normal use, but it still retains most of its frosty
matte finish. The silver colored clip has some paint loss from the
blue diamond. I can repaint the diamond on request. The nib is a
smooth writing Fine 14K. The overall condition of the pen I would rate
as Excellent.

Price $175.00 shipping included in the U.S. Foreign shipping
see "Rules, Shipping, Etc." below.

2. 1948 Parker 51 in India Black, with a gold filled Heritage cap with
solid 14K tassi ring and clip. This is a Vacumatic fill 51 and the
last year the Vac fill 51's were made in the U.S.A. The only things I
noticed that might be considered as flaws are some wear on the
feathers of the clip at the bend, mostly on the right side. That was
probably caused by someone carrying it in shirts with pocket flaps.
The cap has no dings, but it does have a couple of small scratches,
maybe 1.5 mm and one small bump mark that you probably would have a
hard time finding. The cap has some micro scratches. I think there
were only three different Heritage caps, all have 14K trim, sterling,
windowpane and the nine line pattern. They all have the Art Deco arrow
design band stamped near the cap lip. The nib is a smooth writing wet
Extra Fine 14K. The 51's with solid 14K trim are somewhat uncommon and
a bit hard to find.

Price reduced to $375.00 shipping included in the U.S. Foreign shipping
see "Rules, Shipping, Etc." below.

3. ~SOLD~ to D.S.

1950's Parker 51 standard size set in Cocoa with Lustraloy caps.
The original box is included. The pen appears not to have had a lot of
use, as the ink sac is very transparent white. The pen cap only has
some micro scratches and frosty appearance. The nib is a very
smooth writing Fine 14K and lays down a nice line. The pencil cap is
not as nice and seems to have been used more and has more
scratches and less frosty appearance. The pencil is cap actuated
(you press on the top of the cap to propel the lead).
The pencil works well.

~SOLD~ to D.S. $165.00 shipping included in the U.S. Foreign shipping
see "Rules, Shipping, Etc." below.

The filling system on the Cocoa set is Aerometric. Tan colored 51 Vac fillers were called "Buckskin".
