Fitted with a 14-caret fine solid gold nib. We were retail dealers from 1944-1993 and these were ordered from Sheaffer in 1986. They are new, have never been inked, and you would be the first owners. Asking $500 for the pair. Mailing and insurance included for the U.S..

Any input regarding the listed Sheaffer pens would be appreciated. Our suggested retail price in 1990 was $150 for the Slimline and I assume the Classic's were selling for a bit more. Check my math: If the retail price increase 5% per year, the new price for the Slimline would be around $550.00, correct? If so, the total package I'm offering would have a value of around $1,200.00, and would make our asking price of $500.00 for the pair a 65% discounted price. O.K., you've heard my rational, but I no longer have a clue about the fountain pen current market conditions. I covet more responses’. I would however seriously consider any and all reasonable offers.
