My new M800 Tortoise

Hi,
Here are some pics of my new baby!
It is my 10th pen, and I thought it should be special. I was lucky to get one of grail pens, the Pelikan M800 Tortoise.
The nib a very smooth and true-to-size Fine. I really like it!!!

What is the other tortoise in your picture with the monotone gold nib - a 600?

Congratulations on your beautiful new toy! Wrote a very long letter with mine just yesterday, in fact long enough to empty 2/3 of the reservoir - though that's not as impressive as it sounds, the pen carrying a sharpened up yet still very wet OBB nib.

I should receive a parcel with Noodler's Golden Brown in it sometime these days. Should look great in it too.

But mine is an older version with the dotted interior.

The string was very weak and barely lasted for a week. I've replaced it with some real leather strings I had at home.
The material was pretty unkindly at first, but softened up quite much through the years and now I love it!!!

I have an Old-style M600 in black too, but it has some un-photogenic wear ;)

ooh lah lah. One of my wish list pens, but most likely not going to get anytime soon. I have too many at the moment. Less than you but too many for me.
