Would appreciate some advice. Looking to buy a pen as a special gift and have come down to two options (I think).

First is a yard o led viceroy grand (barley finish I think)

Or a Graf V faber-Costello anello in gold (or maybe the titanium)

I can find lots of detail on the yard I leds in general and seems to be really well thought of. I must admit to being swayed on the looks of the faber-castell but can't seem to work out if this is a well respected pen or not - it certainly doesn't seem to be discussed as much. I certainly don't just want to get a pen that will be used for show so it needs to be a great pen.

Obviously price aside as the GvFC is just crazy crazy priced but I love the look of it.

Any thoughts anyone has would be greatly appreciated. What are people's opinions of the GvFC ?
