I have a Montblanc 146, but I would now prefer an M6xx or M800. I'd like any color except the solid colors and demonstrators. (Also looking for Visconti Opera Elements or Steel Age. If multiple offers come, I'll decide then.)

If you have an M800 or M805 or Blue and Black M605, I'll add cash to the deal.

Also, I would prefer M nibs and wider. Wider is better.

The 146:
It has an unstriped ink window and fine/medium monotone 14k nib. I really enjoy using Montblanc Mystery Black in this pen. The nib just glides across the paper; it's really sublime.

It is engraved "John" on the barrel and "Kimberling" on the cap. However, it is extremely subtle and done in tasteful script. When using the pen I hardly notice. Presently, I use the script to tell me if the cap and barrel threads are properly aligned.

The split ebonite feed works great, and the piston is working well. The engraving is there, but its very subtle. I hope this pen finds a good home. I would keep it, but for my hands, the section is a tad wide.
