Spencerian Penmanship, copybooks 1,2,3,5 - brand new, unused

Hi

I got these four books out of a mixup @abebooks (I thought I bought copybooks 1-5 and theorybook, but I got 1,2,3,5 and the set theory + all copybooks). So I have no use for the separate copybooks.

I'm willing to swap/give for free/trade, just make me an offer. I'd say they're worth around 8 US$ (shipping to almost anywhere would be around the same amount...).

Sorry for my ignorance, but do these have examples of the writing to copy in order to learn the style? I just received two beautiful dip pens, and if so, may like to try my hand so to speak...

Hello Steve, here's a quick and dirty pic of a page from book 5: there are 16 lines underneath the text. The format is a little different in the first three books, but they're full of examples.

Book 4 is mostly concerned with capitals, but they're all covered on the inside covers of book 3 and in the body of book 5 too. Well worth having, I'd say.

You could get these copybooks cheaper and possibly quicker on amazon....
