I'm a FPN refugee. Heh. Some of you might recognize my avatar, because I definitely do for some people here!

Anyway, I've been into fountain pens for about two years, starting with a Pelikan Pelikano Junior. Now I've amassed over thirty pens. I generally have a preference for cheap but good pens (my most expensive is a TWSBI 540, to give you all an idea of what I mean by that). I started out with a few ink samples, and now I have 33 bottles of ink and more ink samples than I care to count. This hobby can get ridiculous fast.

Anyway, hello, everyone!

I, too am a FPN refuge. Which town do you live in? I was able to make it up to Newfoundland in 2001, driving from Saint Paul, MN, taking the overnight ferry. I went to Gros Morne National Park - it was unbelieveably beautiful. I had my two dogs with me and put over 5,000 miles on my car on that trip. Anyway, nice to see the number of refuges growing!

Welcome! So cool that you've collected so many pens in such a short amount of time. I'm fairly new too - bought my first pen a month ago and have since acquired 6 more :) It's addicting!

Hello and welcome, Avalona! I've come to like this board, and the Fountain Pen Board as well. You will recognize many of the people on FPG and FPB.
