Hi all,

If you see one or more pens that you like, please reply to me at:

michael@northwestpenworks.com

If you intend to make a purchase, please read "Rules, shipping,
etcetera" at the bottom of this post.

Pen 1. 1948 Parker 51 in India Black, with a gold filled Heritage cap with
solid 14K tassi ring and clip. This is a Vacumatic fill 51 and the
last year the Vac fill 51's were made in the U.S.A. The only things I
noticed that might be considered as flaws are some wear on the
feathers of the clip at the bend, mostly on the right side. That was
probably caused by someone carrying it in shirts with pocket flaps.
The cap has no dings, but it does have a couple of small scratches,
maybe 1.5 mm and one small bump mark that you probably would have a
hard time finding. The cap has some micro scratches. I think there
were only three different Heritage caps, all have 14K trim, sterling,
windowpane and the nine line pattern. They all have the Art Deco arrow
design band stamped near the cap lip. The nib is a smooth writing wet
Extra Fine 14K. The 51's with solid 14K trim are somewhat uncommon and
a bit hard to find.

Price reduced to $375.00 shipping included in the U.S. Foreign shipping
see "Rules, Shipping, Etc." below.

2. c. 1928 Waterman's No. 52 fountain pen in black chased hard rubber,
in the original box, with four page instruction sheet with parts price
list. This is probably the nicest example of a BCHR 52 I have ever
offered for sale. The only damage I found are some very light
scratches on the barrel end from the cap being posted. The pen is
shiny black and almost looks like it came from the factory yesterday.
The chasing is deep and the barrel imprint is deep with sharp, crisp,
raised edges. The nib is a very smooth writing semi-Flexible Fine 14K.
A broad line can be achieved with moderate pressure. This is a
collector grade pen.

Price reduced to $225.00 shipping included in the U.S. Foreign shipping
see "Rules, Shipping, Etc." below.

3. c. 1935 Sheaffer's standard size Balance pen in silver pearl with
red veining. This is a non-White Dot version, but someone had put a
Lifetime nib in it. There is no brassing on the trim and the barrel
has a nice deep imprint. There is some light even discoloration in the
barrel. The nib is an Extra Fine and writes a bit dry. I need to
adjust the flow. It is a nice looking pen.

Price 135.00 shipping included in the U.S. Foreign shipping
see "Rules, Shipping, Etc." below.

Rules, Shipping, Etc.

The usual rules apply, the person sending the first e-mail on an item
~stating intent to purchase~ gets the item. I will give you 5 days to
decide if you like the pen or not. I prefer payment by PayPal but also
accept checks or money orders in USD. I can only accept payment by
PayPal from countries outside the U.S. I ship worldwide, so
international customers are always welcome.

Prices are post paid in the U.S., and will be shipped with a tracking
number and insurance. I normally ship inside the U.S. by U.S.
Postal Service Priority Mail. I can also ship to other countries by
Priority Mail, but I prefer to ship by Express International Mail. I
have to charge by Express International Mail, depending on which
country the item will be sent to, but it can be insured and can
usually be tracked online.

Return Policy: I will always allow pens, or other items, to be
returned. If there is a problem I would prefer the chance to fix the problem
or replace the item, when and if possible. Otherwise a full refund
will be offered. If you find a problem and choose to send the item
(pen, mechanical pencil, etc.) to someone else to be corrected, I will
not be responsible for any other problems.

Happy penning!
