January Meeting Highlights: Fountain Pen Hospital Part I: Ed Fingerman and Fountain Pens in New York City. Our meetings with Fountain Pen Hospital will be spread over two meetings. In the first part, Ed Fingerman will join us at our usual location and will speak about Fountain Pens in New York City and present pieces from his own collection. In Part II of this series, we will be in Fountain Pen Hospital, with Ed, Terry and Steve for more about the shop and perhaps some goodies.

1) Regular Introduction of members and guests
2) Ed Fingerman will present pieces from his own collection, discuss the beginning of the fountain pen collecting renaissance and a history of the fountain pen industry in New York City
3) Mixing, mingling, and nib play
4) Next Meeting, Thursday, February 6, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. at Fountain Pen Hospital, 10 Warren Street
5) Adjourn (Approx.. 9:30-10:00)
