Hi, people!

So I've been thinking about site traffic, and to do my part to build up this excellent board, I thought I could try adding to THIS forum any posts I add to that OTHER forum. And I just responded to a thread asking which inks I have in my pens today. I know this is far from an original topic......but see above re: "thought I could try...." :)

Today's inks (in a really full rotation):
8600

Anyone interested in adding your own picture?

best wishes,

I'll play, though I only have three pens inked pretty much on any given day.

Below is the status quo since yesterday.

I should've mentioned that the Ebony Purple is somewhat diluted to show the purple colour better.

Let's add something: Bonus points if you can get all of your inked pens into the photo, too.

My head is spinning from reading the lists of pens and inks in your current rotations. How do you manage to acutally USE them all? I've recently cut my rotation down from 4 inked pens to 3, and at that they sometimes go a day between uses.

Granted, I use the pens only for work. Also to be noted is that I'm in a very stodgy field - I'm a financial executive in a manufacturing company. So, I have 3 pens inked. One is a Bexley Americana with an Italic nib (about 1.3 mm), filled with EverFlo True Blue, another is a Ranga 3 filled with EverFlo Blue Black, and the last is another Ranga 3 filled with Noodler's Ottoman Azure.

Next week's rotation will have more variety of pens and nibs, but I keep my inks in the blue to blue-black range consistently - for a reason. The executives in the company each write with a unique color, so we can tell who made notations on documents. One uses black, one green, one turquiose, and I use blue or blue-black.

I'll come back to this later when I have time to put ink to paper, but I just wanted to thank the OP for the concept of adding content to the site. Well done!

I sampled Musk Green a while ago and really liked it. I may have to pull the trigger on that one.

I LOVE Alt-Goldgrun. That Kaweco purple looks nice.....too bad I have a lifetime ban on using cartridges.

Kaweco Purple does come in a bottle now, though it's a bit pricey. The color is beautiful (and it's very well-behaved). Anderson Pens carries it (http://www.andersonpens.net/product-p/1000677.htm).
