Ok so I had asked this a while back and it has come up from time to time with comments heard from Mottishaw and others.

I was looking around and found a video from Platinum Pens on what they did to improve the 3776 with the new cap etc.

Watch the video but take a look at 4:55 ... it shows the old feed vs new feed and why.

Cool video, watched it all the way through. Especially amazed at the slip and seal cap mechanism. Another addition to the FP wish list.

I had to laugh at that, too: "Even young women!"

As I said in the other forum, I wanted more information about the feeds.

Yea I didn't listen to the commentary to close as I was really just browsing and when saw the feed comparison I was like HEY !!!

Upon looking at the feeds in my Nakayas I can easily see the difference and found it interesting how he said they changed the feed for improved flow.

I had not noticed how the newer feeds are flared now either.

Earthdawn, have you noticed any difference in the performance of the two feeds on your Nakayas? I have a Platinum with the new feed and a Nakaya with the old. I feel like the new feed is more accepting of a greater variety of ink while the old is quite picky.
