Does anyone have opinions on yellow ink? It's my favorite color and I'm looking for something to put in my bold nibbed Safari to act as an accent/highlighter. I see there are a few brands offering yellow now since I last looked.

Thanks!

De Atramentis Gold Yellow is a color that couldn't be used for writing, but would probably make a good highlighter color. It's basically highlighter yellow. (I got a sample from the Ink Drop back in July, and I ended up washing the rest down the sink because I couldn't possibly fathom when I would use it.)

For more "understated" yellows, I've got my eye on De Atramentis Ocher Yellow

Such an odd name, Ocher Yellow. I have a bottle but it seems more pumpkin to me than any sort of yellow. I would put it in the brown family. But I like it either way.

I love J. Herbin Ambre de Birmanie. It's more gold than yellow, but it's gorgeous in wide stubs and flex nibs.

Maybe R&K Helianthus, Diamine Sunshine Yellow or J. Herbin Bouton d'Or.

You might want to look at the Noodler's highlighter inks (I forget what they're called).

Diamine Sunshine Yellow would probably do nicely as a highlighter, not that I've used it as such. It's certainly a handy ink to have around for mixing purposes, that I can say.
