Lamy entered the top ranks of the writing instrument trade with its Lamy Persona. Manufactured in Germany the Persona is a unique writing instrument that is designed to inspire writing with modernity and comfort. The ring shaped nib section of each Persona creates a striking, but harmonious relationship with the hand. The clip fully retracts into the cap, ensuring a secure placement in the pocket and an undisturbed outline when being used. Together with Mario Bellini, one of the most important Italian designers, Lamy developed the LAMYpersona, which met the reawakened interest in highly priced fountain pens in a new way characteristic of Lamy. As a “fountain pen which has a future not a past” the LAMYpersona became a means of expression for individualists who prefer modern design and writing instrument technology.
