Hello FPGeekers,

I have just placed this listing (http://www.ebay.es/itm/171215996727?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649) on the bay, for a rare vintage Filcao (or f.i.l.c.a.o., as it is written on the box lid and the bottle label), made in Italy.

The pen is perfectly new (I know because I bought it but never used it, only displayed), and would qualify as mint, only it needs a new sac for actual working service (as explained there, the original sac fosilized away and broke to pieces, therefore I have fully cleaned and carefully polished the inner tube for such replacement, just in case the new owner wishes a new sac installed).

The question is: am I right when I call it "the smallest functional pen in the world"? I just want to be completely honest with anyone who visits this listing of mine. I do know about that century-old doll-pen Waterman... but I doubt...

So please, you wise fountain pen people, is there some definitive way to leave my question solved for good? Share with us your knowledge

THANK YOU in advance, regards,

Pennipotens

I just won this pen and she is a Beauty! Had to go to Farney's to do some research on her. But she is the Chrome version, and she is 5.4" Capped x 6.8" Posted, the Barrel is .58" in Diameter and the Cap is .59" in Diameter. She came with a Stainless Steel Medium Nib that writes like a Dream! The cost from where she was purchased was $239.00, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. I will post some pic's when I get a chance

You can probably say that it's one of the smallest functional fountain pen, but I've seen vintage FPs that are decidedly smaller, eg. Waterman's World's Smallest Pen.
