Hi All,
I'm looking for help to identify this little orange marbled pen, that looks a bit like Nemo :-) I bought it yesterdayu and have scoured the net but to no avail ....
I must say it has a certain Chinese feel to it and the nib is quite scratchy (after alignment). So the quest is on; who knows more about this pen/brand ????

Thanks in advance & Cheers !!
Cees

I think you are right on it being Chinese. I have seen that barrel thread setup on Wancher pens. The nib I have seen too but I am blanking out on who the manufacturer was.

The feather stamped on the nib might be a clue but I have not been able to find anything. Cute pen!

Someone on FPN recently posted this pen that has the same nib markings: http://www.fountainpennetwork.com/forum/index.php/topic/256430-orange-overlay-who-made-it/

Except the quill stamping on the nib there is no branding of any kind. That's not like the behaviour of any established Chinese brands, IMHO. The feed is not very modern looking either. Taking a wild guess, I'd say it's made by a Chinese assembly line from counterfeiting/copycat/leftover parts.

Is THIS (http://www.fountainpennetwork.com/forum/index.php/topic/78243-white-feather-gold-star/) the remotest possibility?

Not the pen, but the name of the maker.

IMHO, unlikely. Here is a sample of the long-gone White Feather brand FP. (http://pic6.997788.com/pic_search/00/14/56/86/se14568654.jpg) As you can see, they have "WF" imprint on their nibs and their styling is very typical of the 70s and 80s Chinese pen.

Totally Nemo!
