Hi all,

Here are six pens and a pencil fresh from my workbench. All of the
pens on this list are scarce for various reasons.

If you see one or more pens that you like, please reply to me at:

If you intend to make a purchase, please read "Rules, shipping,
etcetera" at the bottom of this post.

4. circa 1938 Montblanc model 333 1/2 in silver pearl and black. I
have been told that this model is scarce, even in Europe. The 333 1/2
was made in Hungary and predate some of the more commonly seen
wartime Montblanc pens. The nib is correct and marked 3 1/2,
Mont, Blanc, 14, C. The nib is a smooth writing semi-flexible 14K (Ct.)
Moderate pressure will spread the tines from extra fine to about a
1.5 mm broad line. The plastic has some discoloration. The clip and
cap bands are brassed and it appears they were lightly gold plated.
The cap is imprinted Mont Blanc with the mountain logo between
Mont and Blanc. The cap end has some wear on the imprinted
star/snow cap logo and a small nick on the edge of the cap end,
just above the clip. It is a typical MB twist/piston filler. I had the
plunger gasket restored by my friend Joel Hamilton aka Inkpen.
I found the 333 1/2 imprint on the blind cap, but it is light and hard to
see. Capped the pen measures 4 15/16 inches or 12.5 cm. It is
what I would consider a standard size 1930's vintage fountain pen.

Price $525.00 shipping included in the U.S. Foreign shipping
see "Rules, Shipping, Etc." below.

5. Kosca Fountain pen with gold filled overlay. Kosca made high
quality pens. It was a German company that branded pens under their
own name, but also did work for other pen companies, as did Fend. I
have not found much information on this company. The pens are
seemingly quite scarce and do not turn up very often for sale or at
auction. I have seen them offered from sellers in Italy on occasion.
This pen has a typical German twist piston fill mechanism, much like a
Pelikan or MB. The overlay is gold filled with an alternate squiggly
line and straight line engine turned pattern, that has small parallel
squares and smooth rectangles. The clip is mounted high on the cap.
The only damage I found on the pen is some brassing on the tip of the
clip and a bit of the plating has rubbed off of the two tone nib. The
gold filled overlay on the pen is in very nice condition. There is an
amber colored ink window below the barrel overlay. The nib is a
flexible Fine/Med. 14K. The shot that I took of the nib is not very
good, but will give you some idea of what it looks like. The piston
seal has been replaced and the pen seems to be filling well. Capped
the pen measures 4 7/8 inches or 12.5 cm and it is a fairly fat
diameter. The nib tends to railroad track, when you open the tines
wide, but I think I can heat set the feed and fix it.

Price $425.00 shipping included in the U.S. Foreign shipping
see "Rules, Shipping, Etc." below.

6. 1930's Sheaffer's WASP Clipper Junior in blue checkerboard pearl
with black stripes. I think this particular version was made in about
1937, at the Fort Madison, Iowa factory. These are fairly scarce pens.
This one has a black coated rod, covered by a black blind cap. I had
the filling mechanism restored by Sherrell Tyree. The cap band has
some brassing and the high edges of the clip have thin lines of
brassing, which is fairly typical of these late WASP's. The barrel has
some discoloration and is a bit less vibrant blue than the cap. The
nib is a smooth writing Extra Fine 14K. The pen is filling well. This
is a slender pen. Capped the pen measures 5 inches or 12.2 cm.

Price $175.00 shipping included in the U.S. Foreign shipping
see "Rules, Shipping, Etc." below.

~stating intent to purchase~ gets the item. I will give you 5 days to
decide if you like the pen or not. I prefer payment by PayPal but also
accept checks or money orders in USD. I can only accept payment by
PayPal from countries outside the U.S. I ship worldwide, so
international customers are always welcome.

Priority Mail, but I prefer to ship by Express International Mail. I
have to charge by Express International Mail, depending on which

usually be tracked online.

Return Policy: I will always allow pens, or other items, to be
returned. If there is a problem I would prefer the chance to fix the problem
or replace the item, when and if possible. Otherwise a full refund
