For sale is an Eversharp Skyline Demi in Dubonnet Red. While I can’t pinpoint an exact year of production, the Skyline was made from 1941 until 1948. Assuming the “Teardrop” nib is original, it would signify that this pen was an early production model probably made around 1941-1943. the The Demi is the smallest of the Skylines measuring 4 7/8″ capped.
The 14k gold nib features the “Teardrop” design. I would call it a skinny Medium that’s smooth with slightly dry to moderate flow. Using Waterman Florida Blue, I experienced zero issues with its writing performance. The lever filling system works well showing only minor wear on the lever where the cap rubs when posted. The gold plating on the rest of the trim is in excellent condition. The pen is in very good condition, showing signs of use such as surface scratches and a few small nicks. This pen would make a great daily writer; it’s small and compact for portability yet large enough to be comfortable when posted. $65
