I'm having a hard time dating my 144 and I see people posting their vintages that are piston fill. Mine is c/c with a two tone gold nib - any help from anyone?:crazy_pilot:

I believe that would be 1980s to 1990s? Definitely 80s or later. I believe the single toned nibs indicate 80s but I'm afraid I don't have time to google and confirm my horrible memory!

You are correct.

The 144 piston filler was in production from (roughly) 1948 to 1960. At that time, the pen was discontinued for 20+ years. It wasn't until the 1980s that the 144 was re-introduced as a c/c filler.
