I met an InCoWriMo participant at Ex Postal Facto in San Francisco last weekend. Ali and I sat on the floor and chatted about pens and inks and exchanged addresses. He allowed me to use one of his pens and I thought it an unusual write in comparisons to the pens I usually use. It is a Noodlers Ahab with Monteverde italic nib. Made my handwriting look so pretty!
I've not been active on the boards but I am writing every day. I am not writing to as many people as I once did because I'm focusing more on my postcard project and other writing endeavors.
Ali gifted me the pen, assuring me he has its twin and wants this one to get more use. It will with me. I will use it to write him a thank you, enclosed in one of these beautiful mailart envelopes I bought at Ex Postal Facto. These envelopes were created by Philip Carey. He draws while receiving dialysis. There is an article about it here, http://advisor-chronicle.com/a-love-affair-with-art-philip-carey-bring-his-dreams-to-life-p1813-1.htm
