Hi all,

These pens have all been recently restored and are ready to fill with
ink and use.

If you see one or more pens that you like, please reply to me at:

If you intend to make a purchase, please read "Rules, shipping,
etcetera" at the bottom of this post.

4. ~SOLD~ to D.W.

circa 1919 Mabie Todd & Co. Swan SF 1 in black chased hard rubber,
with wide cap band. This pen was made in England, but has a nib that
was made in New York. I did not do a lot of research on this pen, but
I did read a bit in David Moak's book Mabie in America, and sometimes
parts were sent from the Mabie Todd factory in New York to the factory
in England. Either the nib is original and correct or a replacement.
The cap band is nicely engraved with the name Enid, in a cursive
script style. The hard rubber has some very light discoloration. I could
not find any brassing on the trim, there are some light scratches. The
cap and barrel imprints are deep and sharp and the chasing is nice and
deep. It appears to me that the pen was not used much. The nib is a
smooth writing Oblique Medium (OM) in 14K. The pen comes with a nice
box (see photos). Capped the pen measures 5 1/4 inches or 13.5 cm.
The condition is Excellent.

~SOLD~ to D.W. $220.00 shipping included in the U.S. Foreign shipping
see "Rules, Shipping, Etc." below.

5. Parker Duofold Senior Streamline in black Permanite plastic.
This is a very nice pen. The barrel imprint is sharp and crisp. The
clip on the pen is a modern reproduction replacement, it was on the
pen when received it. The nib is a very smooth writing Broad Stub 14K
arrow, wet writing, but not a lot of line variation (see writing
sample). The pen was made in the U.S.A., but the nib was made at the
Newhaven factory in England. The nib was in the pen when I
received it and I saw no reason to change it. The pen has no damage to
report. This is a very nice looking pen with a great nib!

Price reduced ti $265.00 shipping included in the U.S. Foreign shipping see
"Rules, Shipping, Etc." below.

6. 1928 or '29 Parker Duofold Sr. Flattop in "Lacquer-red" Permanite
plastic. The pen has a nice polish, but it is basically a user grade
pen. It was used a lot and has quite a bit of wear in places. The cap
end and blind cap have a lot of wear and are pretty rounded on the
edges. The barrel imprint is worn and light. The clip has some
brassing at the bend on top and on the ball, and the bottom cap ring
has a lot of brassing. It has a spear/Christmas tree feed, but a 1946
Vac style "arrow" replacement nib. The barrel is marked "45",
indicating that it was made in the 4th quarter of 1935. The nib is a
smooth writing Fine 14K. The pen would make a good everyday "user".

Price reduced to $155.00 shipping included in the U.S. Shipping to
other countries is $30.00 extra, for Express International Mail.

All Mabie Todd gold nibs were made in USA until 1920.
