Hi all,

These pens have all been recently restored and are ready to fill with
ink and use.

If you see one or more pens that you like, please reply to me at:

michael@northwestpenworks.com

If you intend to make a purchase, please read "Rules, shipping,
etcetera" at the bottom of this post.

Pen #1. 1937 Parker Vacumatic Junior in black. This is not your average
1930's Vac! It has a reticulated barrel, which some might call a web
pattern. These reticulated Vacumatics are fairly scarce animals. I
think I have only seen one other example in person, in all the years
I have been collecting. There is some brassing on the lower cap
band, a little on the tip of the clip and some very thin lines of
brassing on the high edges of the tassi ring, on the blind cap.
The white plating on the nib has some wear, also. The barrel clarity
is excellent. If you look at the close-up of the barrel, you can see
one of the stamps through the barrel, on the printed background
paper. I wish I knew what brand and color of ink that was used in
this pen. I suspect it was Parker Quink. The lock down plunger is in
nice condition. The diaphragm has been replaced, but I was very
hesitant to ink this pen, because of the near perfect barrel clarity,
so I did not do a writing sample with it. The nib appears to be a Fine.

Price reduced to $295.00 shipping with insurance included in the U.S.

2. 1946 Parker Vacumatic Junior in silver pearl. There is no damage to
report. The silver colored trim is exceptional and is probably the
nicest example of a silver pearl 1940's Vacumatic that I have ever
had. The barrel imprint is fairly crisp and deep and the barrel
clarity is much better than average, with only very light ambering,
see photos. I decided that I would go ahead and do a writing sample
with the pen, but if it were mine I would probably not use it, but
whether you buy it and use it is entirely up to you. The nib is a
smooth writing Fine 14K arrow. The condition is Excellent.

Price $195.00 shipping with insurance included in the U.S. Foreign shipping
see "Rules, Shipping, Etc." below.

3. 1940/41 Parker Vacumatic oversize Maxima set in golden brown pearl.
The pen was made in the second quarter of 1941 and the pencil was made
in the fourth quarter of 1940. The pen has a Speedline aluminum fill
plunger. There is a tiny bit of typical brassing on the outside ridge of
the blind cap tassi ring. Someone very lightly scratched the initials "K
M" on the indicia panel on the cap band of the pen. The pen and pencil
have both been imprinted with the name "Albert Wayne Nielsen". The
name imprint is not too obvious. The clear barrel segments only have
very minimal ambering (see close-up photo). The nib is a smooth
writing Fine 2 tone 14K arrow. The pen clip still has the original
blue paint in the diamond. The pencil is in good working condition.

Price for the set reduced to $395.00 shipping included in the U.S.
Foreign shipping see "Rules, Shipping, Etc." below.

You wouldn't be interested in a trade for either of those silver pearl vacumatics would you? I've been after one for about 4 months.
