Over the past week I developed some envelope templates that can be printed on standard US paper sizes and yield some useful sized envelopes. There are three different envelopes that will hold quarter folded US Letter and A4 sheets and also will hold half folded 6x9, 5.5x8.5 and A5 sheets. Another size is the smallest USPS mailable "standard" envelope size, which can be made from a 6x9 sheet.
These templates have no instructions, branding, graphics, or words in the area that will be the cut out envelope unlike most of the other free templates I could find, and are carefully sized to be rectangles (not parallelograms) and USPS legal without square shape surcharges.
The templates are free, public domain, and available as PDF or Open Office Draw documents.
If you have any interest, please check out mrcharlie's envelope templates (http://www.deathstar.org/~cmc/envelopes/). Let me know if you have any issues.
