Parker Duofold Centennial Cap Top Badges, Did They All Have Them?

Hi all

A quick question regarding the Parker Duofold Centennial

Did they all have some form of brass cap top badge, I have seen a few that had no badge but also show no sign that there had ever been one there in the first place.

Should they all have some sort of badge or did Parker sell some with no badge.

My first year 1987 blue marble centennial has a plain black top. I think they started putting on the cap medallions a few years later. My 1991 godron has the pinwheel / Spirograph looking medallion. I think all mark II duofolds have the duofold banner and mark IIIs have the ace. Anything else is a special edition so you should probably go ahead and buy it. Please correct me if I'm wrong
