This is my first pen review, so please bear with me! I'm not an expert by any means, and I'm still a beginner when it comes to
fountain pens. I haven't seen too many reviews for the Cult Pens Mini Fountain Pen yet, so I thought I would add my two
cents. I've had the pen for several weeks now and I've been enjoying its portability.

I am very fond of small fountain pens, and small pens in general. Most of fountain pens are minis, and I was looking
for something in the size range of the Kaweco Liliput (I refuse to buy the Liliput since it's so difficult to get it to work
with a converter) when I found the Cult Pens Mini. It's the smallest, slimmest pen I have used thus far that still allows me
to use bottled ink without refilling cartridges. The Cult Pens Mini uses the Kaweco squeeze converter so it doesn't hold a lot
of ink, but plenty for what the pen is used for.

The pen is pictured below with a Midori Traveler's Notebook refill (my go to combination for this pen). It is incredibly small.
The finish is brushed aluminum, which is very attractive while still resistant to scratches. The cap is a screw cap, with a
small but functional clip. The cap posts securely with friction (a nice touch in my opinion).

Uncapped the pen is just 93 mm, and still a relatively short 123 mm when posted. It's about the diameter of most disposable
pens, although the grip section tapers a bit smaller. With my small hands I can easily use the pen either posted or unposted, but
it will get lost in larger hands (I was amused to watch a good friend of mine attempt to use the pen unposted and it certainly
wasn't comfortable for him until he posted the cap). This pen is perfect for portability and it fits easily in pockets, purses, or pen loops.

The Cult Pens Mini uses a Bock nib by Kaweco, the same size as the nib in the AL Sport or Liliput. I ordered mine
with an extra fine nib, but I like that I can always replace the nib with something else when I tire of it. The nib
writes quite smoothly to me, and as expected, it writes the same as my my Kaweco Sport/AL Sport (Please
ignore the blue and green coloration, the nib is shiny silver and catches the reflection of my colorful camera!)

The brand logo is etched on the cap, it's fairly subtle, although it does take away from visual appeal of the pen
slightly.

The only thing that I dislike about this pen is the grip section. It's nickel-chromium plated brass, and it's quite
slippery. The grip also tapers a bit too much for my taste, and the horizontal bands don't add much by way of grip.
I find that my hand tires after writing only a page in my journal since I have to grip this tiny section so tightly.
(Again, please ignore the color of my camera reflected off the silver grip section).

I somehow didn't do any writing tests with the pen, so I just tested it with what is currently on my desk (excuse my
atrocious handwriting today, if I drink enough coffee I shake like a leaf). My pen is currently inked with Diamine Bilberry,
and I did the tests on copy paper, Tomoe River paper in creme, and a Rhodia dotpad.

The Kaweco nibs do seem to have a bit of flex, although it's not particularly noticeable. The top line is with no
pressure applied and the bottom is about all the flex I was willing to risk without hurting the nib. The dots are 5 mm
grid (Rhodia dotpad).

Overall, I'm quite happy with this little pen! It will never be a pen used for extensive journaling or letter writing, but
it's perfect for grocery lists or quick notes on the go. This pen has become a staple in my wallet along with a small
Midori traveler's notebook refill. Has anyone else tried the Cult Pens Mini Fountain Pen? What do you think?

I have several small vintage pens. I love the small size of them as you do. I have kaweco sport and that's as small as I can go for note taking. Can you take a pic of the cult against another kaweco?

Sure! I don't have the best lighting here at work, but here's the difference between the Cult Pens Mini and the Kaweco AL Sport (which is of course the same size as the regular Sport). For me the Kaweco is more comfortable to write with for any length of time, and the two are pretty similar in size.
