I own three "Cadence" pens. I purchased them at a Things Engraved store here in Calgary, Alberta. Things Engraved is a national chain of gift stores. I really love them but have been unable to find much info about them. I came across a short thread on FPN from 2011 (http://www.fountainpennetwork.com/forum/index.php/topic/185304-anyone-heard-of-cadence-pens/) but that's about it.

Would love feedback from the learned audience. More info in this blog post (http://inlovewithjournals.wordpress.com/2014/03/23/cadence-pens/).

The numbers are 1, 3 and 4. At first I thought these numbers spoke to the size of the nib but this short writing sample doesn't show much line variation, in my opinion. Please forgive my ignorance - what do the numbers mean?

Thanks for reading this and maybe helping me with this puzzle. :)

Update: I got a comment on my blog post from Things Engraved:

What a wonderful review! We are so happy to hear that you love your Cadence pen. Unfortunately this specific model has been discontinued in our stores and online. We introduce new products on a regular basis, keep stopping by in case you find a new favourite pen! (Tara)

At least now I know they are discontinued.

I appreciate all the views everyone, thanks for trying to help! :)
